How we raise the funds.

The PTA have many annual fund-raising events (see School Calendar) These include Bonfire & Firework displays, Xmas Bizarre, Summer Fetes, Bingo and Quiz Nights, Fun days and Car Boots. Other fundraisers are School Disco's, Mufty days, the 100 Club, raffles and any other opportunities we can sieze to raise funds.

How the funds are spent.

The PTA provides the extra finance to improve the quality and enjoyment of our children education. Some of the money is spent on materials and equipment, such as electronic equipment like DVDs, Videos and TVs, plus the extra costs incurred of the electricians and carpenters to fit them.
The French club is reliant on PTA funding. Other clubs receive donations of equipment, for example 4 x tennis nets and a class pack of rackets have been bought in support of tennis club. The PTA have also bought a full range of Primary Athletics equipment.
Other PTA funds also go towards Coach trips, outings and the traditional Xmas Panto.
Funds provide every pupil with a book at Xmas and a leaving present when they finally leave the Bisley Blue Coat. The Trim Trail project phase one is complete, this safe, quality playground equipment enhances the use of our limited playground space. There are plans to add more to this project in the near future.

What you can do to help.

There are many ways you as parents can help whether you're a behind the scenes helper, setting and clearing up or you just come along and support the event, all efforts are greatly appreciated. We always need that extra help whether it's donating a raffle prize, baking a cake, manning a stall, leaflet drops, posters displayed, every little helps in our fund raising efforts.
Why not come along to a PTA meeting, set in the friendly surrounding of the Bear or the Stirrup Cup and add your ideas and suggestions, by networking together and pooling our resources and talents we can improve the quality of our children's time at our very special village school.
